C.A.R.E. was developed to create a tangible atmosphere for local citizens, community schools, agencies and institutions to become active partners in addressing education, community concerns and linking the needs of viable resources to improve their community. As “Change Agents” we are adept at working with community members to identify needs and resources, and then facilitate those needs through an array of educational services.
The RAOHK Project’s objective is to build opportunities for the professional community to selflessly help people in need, without contemplation of EGO, STATUS, or AMBITION. With commitment and anonymity, our mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals through Random Acts of Human Kindness, one person at a time.Random acts are non-premeditated, unpredictable actions designed to offer kindness towards the outside world.
Throughout the school year, many youth from single and low income households are provided free breakfast and lunch through Public School Districts. During the summer months and other school vacation periods, the schools are often closed and many of these youth go without daily nutritional meals as a result of family financial hardships. UWIN CDC’s goal via our HELPING HANDs program is to sponsor and provide breakfast, lunch and snacks Monday through Friday to low income youth during the times of schools non-operation. This effort will be made possible, through funding from the State Nutritional Program and collaborative partnerships with other Community Agencies and Nonprofit Organizations.
The REHAB LAB Program’s objectives are to provide the community with a platform to educate, cultivate and encourage those interested in the creative arts. With assistance from our community of skilled educators, consultants, volunteers and collaborators, some of the main focuses will be understanding the functionality of a DAW, step by step music production, videography, photography, video and photo editing and more.
